The Hjelt Interior at the Alvar Aalto Museum
The furniture donation from the Allan and Bo Hjelt Art Foundation in 2019 made it possible to create Artek's 1940s interior for the Alvar Aalto Museum's permanent exhibition.
The donation includes two safari chairs and two upholstered dining room chairs that were exclusively designed for Allan Hjelt’s official residence by the Finnish furniture company Artek.
